DYAL8 is a self-taught contemporary artist working at the intersection of street art, pop art, graffiti culture, and digital distortion.

Spray paint. Acrylic. Stencils. Glitches. Texture. Accidents.

The work begins with ideas and often takes shape digitally, but ultimately becomes physical—frequently through painstakingly hand-cut stencils and layers of paint that leave room for something unexpected to happen.

The influence of music runs deep. After more than a decade immersed in DJing, production, and audio engineering, rhythm, repetition, distortion, and glitches became more than sounds—they became ways of seeing.

A renewed encounter with European street art in the mid-2010s reignited a fascination that had been there since childhood. What began as an experiment with spray cans and stencil-making eventually became DYAL8.

The name comes from an idea: people look, but they don't always see.

We're surrounded by advertising, technology, fashion, information, imagery, noise, and carefully constructed versions of reality. DYAL8 is interested in the glitches—the contradictions, imperfections, distortions, and things hiding in plain sight.

Not everything needs to be explained.

Sometimes the best thing an artwork can do is make you stop, question what you're looking at, and look again.
